Video Transfer Services

We can transfer: VHS, 8MM, Super 8, VHS-C, Hi-8, still photos & slides to modern digital formats so that you can watch, enjoy and share them with family and friends.

However, you don't have to stop at just a video transfer!

Once we've converted your old media, we can edit it for you to make it more fun and interesting to watch, we can clean it up, helping bring history to life, or we can use it as a component of your own documentary.

8MM & Super-8 Film

We use professional, modern, Kodak digital equipment to transfer reels of 8MM and Super-8 film to .mov or .mp4 format.

Once transferred, you can choose to receive the files on a thumb drive, SD card, or via digital file transfer (Google Drive).

Home movies shot on suitcase sized camcorders deserve better than aging away in a box somewhere. We think you'll love re-watching the precious "first steps" moments and the awkward, cringe-inducing ones.

Adding Audio

Although some 8MM and Super-8 film included audio, much of it does not. We can provide your film back to you with no audio, or we can add audio to enhance your viewing experience:

Projector sound for an authentic viewing experience
Music that is in step with the video and your personal preferences
Your narration - we can work with you to add your narration to the video no matter where you live.

Pricing:

Projector Sound: $10 per 15 min

Licensed Music: $30 per 15 min

Narration: Varies; $10 - $30 per 15 min

Video Enhancement

The grainy look of vintage video is part of its charm! We're not here to polish away the rich patina of history, but some image stabilization, a little color correcting, and image sharpening can bring history to life in a way that makes it easy to see on today's modern screens.

Video enhancement is available for

Fewer than 10 minutes: $15 / minute

10 - 30 minutes: $10 / minute

30 minutes or more: $5 / minute
