Family Heritage & Legacy Films
These films are nearest and dearest to our hearts.

It's where Teeg started with this business, and there is something incredibly special about telling the story of a family. These films preserve into the future the best of what has been in the past. They're about ensuring that the hard work and sacrifice of past generations isn't lost on the generations to come. They're an opportunity to give advice in a way that it can be heard. It's a way to say "I love you" with permanence.

And it's fun. These films are a whole lot of fun!
Let's make one together.
Historical Documentary
This film is a look back at your family, capturing the stories of your parents, grandparents, great grandparents and beyond.

Imagine if The History Channel or Ken Burns came to do a film that captured your family's story.

This is that!

We will bring your old videos, scrapbooks and photos to life by doing interviews and then piece them together with music, narration, and cinematic production to tell a wonderful story about your family.

We can help with research, or use your memories and research. It can be about one family member or as wide as the whole family.
People, Places & Things
"I was in the attic of my Dad's house after he had passed away, going through all the things he'd carefully kept. I opened a white cardboard box, and inside were these wooden figures. It took me a moment to know what I was seeing ... these were African artifacts. I had a great aunt and uncle ... or was it a great great aunt and uncle ... who were missionaries in Africa.

But ... who, exactly were they again?
If found photos ... was this them?

I couldn't ask, there was nobody to ask."

- Teeg Stouffer

What are the precious places and things for you? A restored car, Grandma's china, the family farm.
A documentary capturing the stories of these things - or making this part of another film - is a moving, powerful way to capture heritage and create legacy.
Day In The Life
There might not be a more interesting way to capture someone's story than by doing a "Day In The Life" film.

These films literally follow you - or someone who you want to honor with a film - through one day, start to finish.

Along the way, you not only experience their activities, but the people in their lives, the places they go, and along the way, we hear the stories of their life.

These can be timed with significant events, they can be ordinary days, or we can work with you to set up a special, intentional day just for the shoot.

Family Tree
If you've done the hard work of tracing your genealogy, you might have discovered some names, dates and places, but what were their stories? For the people who will do this kind of research in the future, how fantastic would it be to record something like this?

Imagine a video that traces a graphic of your family tree, and then diving into a little video vignette about each person.

Imagine shooting something like this at a family reunion, or shooting it in advance of the reunion and showing it there. Or imagine having something like this to show at Christmas, perhaps even updated every few years.
Trip of A Lifetime
"I think about my friend Judy. After her mom passed away, her Dad made a confession: he had always wanted to go to Antarctica, but his wife, Judy's mom, was never interested in such a journey. But in the time after she passed, after he'd healed from the loss of his wife, he made a commitment to go to the bottom of the world, but he didn't want to go alone. So he asked Judy. And she said yes."

For some of us, there is a trip that defines our life. For Judy, ten years after that trip, she was still dressing up as a penguin for the church fall festival. It was just such a powerful, transformative experience. But what do we have to remember trips like this? For most of us, maybe memories and some tucked away photos, at most.
What if you had a movie you could watch once a year to remember the trip that changed your life, that captured your happiest times?

You can give us video you shot on a past trip that we can produce into a world class film, you can work with us in advance of a big trip to set you up with the gear, and we edit when you get back, or you can take us with you! For large group trips, corporate trips, incentive trips - bringing a videographer or video team can help you get so much more out of the trip!

Tribute & Celebration Videos
Sometimes we want to celebrate a major milestone: a 50th Wedding Anniversary, a 75th or 80th or some other birthday.
Perhaps it's the celebration of life service after someone has passed.

We can offer something as simple as a compilation of photos and videos as a tribute, or we can produce a complete video that can be the centerpiece of an unforgettable celebration!
We can help you - or an entire group of people - say exactly what you'd all want to say, to honor someone and pay tribute in a brilliant way!
We can combine these elements to make the perfect film for you.

Films can run from 10 minutes to full feature length (90 minutes).

The cost of a film depends on where we shoot, how many shoot locations we include, how many days we shoot, how many people are involved with the shoot, and how much post production (editing, etc) is involved.
Let's discuss your specific goals, your vision, we'll match our storytelling ability, and we can build a film and budget that works for you!
